Cairnwell keeps a record of your GLP-1 treatment so you can see it clearly and talk about it with your clinician. It is not a medical service. Please read this before you rely on it.
01The short version
Cairnwell is a personal recordkeeping and general wellness app. It stores what you enter, organizes it, and shows it back to you. It does not practice medicine.
Every decision about your medication belongs to you and your prescriber. Nothing in this app changes that.
02What Cairnwell Does
It keeps your record
- Stores the medication, dose, and schedule exactly as you enter them from your prescription or label
- Logs injections, dose changes, injection sites, and missed or delayed doses
- Tracks weight, body measurements, side effects, hunger, energy, sleep, protein, fiber, water, and workouts
- Reminds you when a dose or check-in you scheduled is due
- Shows charts and plain summaries of what you recorded
- Produces a PDF you can bring to an appointment, and a CSV export of everything
- Holds the questions you want to ask your clinician so you do not forget them
03What Cairnwell Does Not Do
It does not make clinical decisions
- Does not diagnose any medical condition
- Does not prescribe, recommend, or select a medication
- Does not calculate a dose, and does not tell you to raise or lower one
- Does not convert compounded medication concentrations into injection instructions, and does not translate milligrams, milliliters, units, clicks, or syringe markings for you
- Does not compute, adjust, or extend a titration schedule. Where you record one, it is a copy of what your prescriber gave you
- Does not tell you when or whether to take a dose you missed
- Does not tell you how to respond to a symptom
- Does not predict a medical event
- Does not provide consultations, telehealth, or any form of clinical care
- Does not sell medication or process insurance
- Does not replace emergency services
04How to Read What the App Tells You
Cairnwell describes patterns in the data you entered. It never instructs. The difference matters, so here is what it looks like in practice.
Nausea was recorded after four of your last six injections.
Lower your dose to prevent nausea.
Your average protein entry increased during weeks when your recorded strength stayed stable.
You need 140 grams of protein to prevent muscle loss.
Every observation shows the dates and the entries behind it, so you can judge it yourself. These summaries come from arithmetic on your own records. They are not a clinical opinion, and a pattern in your data does not prove a cause.
05Accuracy Depends on You
Cairnwell records what you type. It does not verify your entries against your prescription, your pharmacy, or your medical record. If you enter a dose incorrectly, the app will store and display the incorrect dose. Check your entries against your prescription label, and take any question about dosing to your prescriber or pharmacist.
Data brought in from Apple Health or Health Connect keeps its original source and timestamp. The app shows you where each value came from.
06If Something Feels Wrong
When you record certain symptoms, the app may show a reminder to seek medical help. That reminder is general safety information reviewed by a clinician. It is not an assessment of your situation, and the absence of a reminder does not mean you are fine.
07Who This App Is For
Cairnwell is for adults 18 and over who have been prescribed a GLP-1 medication by their own healthcare provider. It is not for children, and it is not a way to obtain a prescription.
08No Affiliation
Cairnwell is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any pharmaceutical manufacturer, pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, telehealth provider, or clinic. Medication names appear in the app only so you can record which product you were prescribed.
09Regulatory Status
Cairnwell is a general wellness and recordkeeping product. Its functions are limited to recording, organizing, displaying, and summarizing information you enter or import. It is not a medical device and has not been reviewed or approved by the FDA. Any future feature that would diagnose, treat, calculate a dose, or predict a clinical event would go through separate regulatory review before release.
